The farmhouse exterior occupies most of the canvas, its walls, windows and doors reduced to plain rectangular elements. Trees and hedges frame the façade, binding building and vegetation into a single blocky arrangement. Uneven light across stone and foliage keeps the scene shallow and firmly grounded.
