Viewed from above, the surface of the pond beside the farmhouse studio fills the frame with water, wall edges and reflected light. Submerged forms, glare and reflection are built through subtle shifts of tone across the surface. Stonework and vegetation appear as angled bands along the margins, enclosing the image.
