British Museum, London
Holds a selection of Fell’s prints from the late 1960s and early 1970s, including works from the Covent Garden series (1972,0408.1; 1972,0408.2; 1972,0408.3; 1972,0408.4), acquired shortly before his inclusion in Modern Prints and Drawings (British Museum, 1972).

Ashmolean Museum, Oxford
Holds Palm Sunday (WA2016.86.81), an aquatint from Fell’s print cycle A Simple Easter, donated as part of a broader collection of twentieth-century printmaking.

British Council Collection, London
Holds Riverscape (P3853), representing Fell’s engagement with the city landscape during the 1980s.

Keele University Art Collection
Holds Kennington Paddling Pool (1997/029), part of a broader collection of twentieth-century British figurative work.

Bedford Schools Art Collection
Holds a Fell print within its historic educational collection, reflecting mid-century approaches to art teaching. The future disposition of the collection is currently under review by the local authority.

University of Melbourne — Baillieu Library Print Collection (Australia)
Holds a copy of St Matthew’s Gospel (1991.2012.000.000), purchased in 1991.

Private Collections

Works by Fell also reside in private collections in the United Kingdom, France, Australia and the United States. These include:

  • French collections in the Gers region, where Fell lived and worked for over twenty years

The Estate does not publish the names of private collectors, but holdings are recorded internally for provenance purposes.
