A priest stands centrally within the church at Vic-Fezensac, anchoring a composition that also contains smaller scenes distributed across the surface. Café tables, market activity and figures in church appear at different scales within the same pictorial space. Changes of scale and placement draw these varied settings into a single, integrated frame.
